Maria Elena Bello, born on April 18, 1967, in the United States is an actress, producer, writer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998) and Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2006), The Cooler (2004), A History of Violence (2006), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008). Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013). Lights Out (2016). Bello appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) as well as other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born April 18 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. She studied political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by taking part in various New York theatre productions. Bello as well as Dan McDermott have a son, Jackson. In November 2013 Bello wrote about her first partner Clare Munn's same-sex relationship. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to Others (Dey Street Books - April 28, 2015).
