Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator from the United States. She was previously a politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball declared that they would be leaving the show, in May 2021. They planned to launch their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her new interest in politics partly to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primaries. Additionally, she also witnessed the US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the impact it had on the citizens of Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District during the 2010 election. However, she lost to Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015. She created the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
