Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara is the proud winner of many distinctions that include a Genie Award. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received praise for her comic acting and writing skills, earning her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was a member of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
